Get Exposure in Inc. Magazine

I received an email from someone with Inc. Magazine not long ago (I’m sure lots of people have), mentioning that they’re expanding their coverage of 500 companies to 5000 companies. Here’s what you need to know if you want a chance as some press in Inc. Magazine in light of this change:
The magazine is looking for any privately-held companies that have been growing since 2003. If your company fits that requirement, you can “get into the running” for their annual list. The list features America’s fastest-growing private companies. The top 500 on the list will still receive coverage in Inc. Magazine’s September issue, and the full list of 5000 will be featured on Inc.com.
Here are more of the rules and instructions to be considered, directly from their press release which was sent along: “To be eligible for the Inc. 5,000, companies must be U.S.-based and independent, with four full calendar years of revenue generation. Companies must provide their revenue figures for 2003, 2004, 2005 and an estimate for 2006 to qualify for consideration. They can do that via the online qualification form reachable via the Inc. 500 menu item on Inc.com’s front page at www.inc.com, or at www.inc5000.com.”
The deadline for submitting the qualification form is March 1, 2007.

Thanks for the tips and info on PR. I guess when my sites grow up I can maybe get them indexed in the top 5000 of Inc.
