PR.com Press Release Distribution Changes

Posted by Jennifer Mattern on April 19th, 2007 in Online PR, Press Releases

PR.com has just announced several changes to their press release distribution options. Here’s a run-down of new features available through their online press release distribution options (btw, this is my personal favorite in press release distribution sites):

Yahoo! News Distribution - Press releases distributed through PR.com will now be distributed to Yahoo! News with an upgraded press release visibility option.

File Attachments - You can now attach a variety of files, from images to Word documents, to press releases distributed on PR.com.

PDF Press Release Version - PR.com now automatically creates a .pdf version of submitted press releases, which can be indexed by search engines.

Industry and Regional Distribution Channels - Now, when distributing a press release through PR.com, you can enhance your distribution by including industry- or regional-focused distribution, to help browsers find the release in relevant searches.

Social Bookmarking - Social bookmarking options for sites such as Digg and Del.icio.us have been added to PR.com press releases.
