Where the Hell Have I Been?
Just as I was gearing up to push this blog into my regular schedule, instead I dropped off the face of the blogosphere for a little while… at least the PR corner. Here’s what’s going on:
1. I’ve been swamped with my business blog (including merging my marketing blog with it), my freelance writing blog (merging two writing blogs together, and adapting my writing forums to join the mix), and redesigning my business site.
2. I decided to take a little bit of time away from NakedPR because, with that business site redesign, I’ll be launching a second PR blog, focused more on education about online PR. NakedPR will still be my “playground,” for exposing online PR fads, ranting about stupidity in the industry, and sharing occasional online PR tips and advice for the DIY crowd (while the new blog will focus more on PR professionals).
So that’s that. I’m busy and making a few changes, but soon enough I’ll be back to ranting as usual here, likely starting with the Facebook fad, because the ever-growing hype among PR professionals just makes me sick.
